Baan Thai was an incredible dining experience that felt truly authentic. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The Thai milk tea was rich and creamy, with just the right sweetness—a perfect start to the meal. The red curry had a wonderfully bold and aromatic flavor, with a smooth coconut base and fresh, tender ingredients that made it so satisfying. The pad Thai tasted just like how it should—authentic, with perfectly cooked noodles, a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors, and a generous sprinkle of peanuts for added crunch. The grilled prawns were juicy, smoky, and charred to perfection, bringing out that classic Thai barbecue flavor. The green papaya salad was bright and refreshing, with crisp textures, a zesty lime dressing, and a hint of spice that brought it all together beautifully. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the dishes had that homemade touch that’s hard to find. If you’re looking for authentic Thai flavors and a fantastic dining experience, Baan Thai is definitely the place to go!

We visited Baan Thai for the first time and were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food, the service, and the cozy atmosphere. Here’s what we ordered and how we felt about each dish: • Chicken Skewers Super juicy and well-marinated, with just the right amount of char. The flavor was simple but satisfying — a perfect starter. • Massaman Lamb Tacos One of the most unique dishes we tried! The lamb was incredibly tender and full of that rich, spiced Massaman flavor, paired surprisingly well with the soft taco shell. A fusion twist that really works. • Wok Fried Beans Crisp, garlicky, and just the right amount of seasoning. A great veggie option that didn’t feel like an afterthought — we’d happily order it again. • Thai Nachos So fun! Crunchy, flavorful, with a mix of Thai herbs and toppings that made it way more exciting than regular nachos. Great for sharing. • Lettuce Wrap Light, fresh, and refreshing. The filling was flavorful but not too heavy — a great contrast to the richer dishes. Every dish was beautifully plated, and we loved how each had its own identity but still felt cohesive as a meal. Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and very welcoming (thank you Jamie!). The restaurant has a warm, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Overall, we had a great experience and can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommended!

This place is one of my favourites, its a litttle on the more expensive size but its so worth it, i always get the beef noodle soup. I dream about this soup its so amazing, highly recommend. The servers are always super nice too!

Visited on October ‘24 on a Wednesday night and was happy they stay open late for tourists from the States and very modern seating and dining another. Food was delicious and worth the extra time it took to arrive.

It was so good... couldn't even post a pic since I ate it so fast. Amazing food and service and had a nice selection of local beer... But, could have had the patio screens open, it was a nice evening out.

One of our favourite Thai food restaurants in Langford , yummy we love their red curry with seafood, Pad Thai, fried rice, of course, we always add seafood to themchicken and pork skewers, spring rolls and their Thai drinks like Iced Thai coffee and Iced Thai tea are delicious too. I really loved the spring menu that they offer these days. The duck was cooked nice and was very tasty. My wife had a slight different experience with the seafood not fully cooked. I assume it is hit and miss in this restaurant.

We enjoyed the food which exceeded our expectations. The speed of service in terms of dishing our our food was quite impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed their mango desserts including the sticky rice and cheesecake (which is one of the best I've had so far). The lamb tacos and chicken skewers were a great way to start the as they were so flavorful. Be sure to get them during happy hour. We also tried the veggie wraps which were ok. We got the drunken noodles and fried rice which were a great addition to the massaman lamb shank entree which was so tender and bursting with flavor. It was our first time to this establishment but definitely not our last. Highly recommend to try!
